MATCH BUILD UP: VERSUS KENYA POLICE FC
The Seals will be back in action this weekend after close to one month of inaction owing to the FIFA International break.
In the first of three crucial fixtures, the Seals will host Kenya Police FC at the SportPesa Arena on Sunday, 16th June 2024.
Speaking ahead of the match, Coach Juma believes it's possible to collect maximum points and has set his target for a top-ten finish. "We haven't had a good run, we started the month (of May) poorly losing against Gor Mahia FC and Tusker FC which are two top sides. We managed to pick ourselves up and drew the next two fixtures against Kariobangi Sharks FC and Ulinzi Stars FC. We go into the next fixtures and our target is to win all the remaining fixtures and finish in the top half of the table." Coach Juma averred.
Besides the Police FC tie, the team will travel to Mumias to play Kakamega Homeboyz in our penultimate fixture before our final campaign tie against Shabana FC on 23rd June 2024 at the SportPesa Arena.
Seals are perched in 12th position in the league standing with 37 points from the 31 matches played so far. A win in the match against Police FC, coupled with other results, will all but ensure our participation in the league next season.
