The Seals picked up a point in the league encounter against Ulinzi Stars played at the Ulinzi Sports Complex on Monday, 20th May 2024.

Coach Juma Abdalla was forced to make changes to the squad with midfielder Erick Balecho out with a knee injury. Batts Awita was called up to replace the injured midfielder with the coach maintaining the rest of the squad that started against Kariobangi Sharks FC. 

The match started on a slow note with chances far and wide. Maxwell Odada would come close to opening the scores for the Seals in the first half but the Ulinzi Stars goalkeeper saved his effort. Ulinzi Stars also had moments, but our defensive pair of Robert Mudenyu and Brian Marvin remained solid.

With the first half ending goalless, both teams were determined to collect maximum points in the second half. It was the Seals who got the opening goal in the 57th minute; Batts Awita was brought down inside the box and the referee pointed to the spot, Joe Waithira stepped up and converted the spot kick. Ulinzi would later get their equalizer in the 68th minute. The match ended in a one-all draw.

With the points earned from the match, Murang'a Seal FC maintained its 12th position in the league standings with 37 points. The next match is a home encounter against Kenya Police FC on 16th June 2024.
