The Seals were held to a goalless draw by a determined Kariobangi Sharks side in the midweek league match played at the SportPesa Arena in Murang'a on Wednesday, 15th May 2024.

In what was a highly contested encounter, both sides had glorious opportunities to change the scoreline and take home maximum points but what can be termed a mixture of good defending and blunt attacking ensured that the teams shared the spoils.

Murang'a Seal had arguably the best chance of the match in the first half after Maxwell Odada collected a loose ball in the 18 area but his effort was saved by the crossbar. Sharks on the other hand had their best opportuinty to score in the second half with JohnMark Makwata finding space in the box to shoot but Munyasa made a good save to deny the on-form striker from adding to his tally.

With the scoreline, Murang'a Seal maintained its position in the league standing with 36 points from the 30 matches played. The next match shall be against Ulinzi Stars FC scheduled to be played in Monday, 20th May 2024 at the Ulinzi Complex.
